Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and customer service, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical sales, along with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and HVAC systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory management, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical components (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical systems.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics and analysis.
- Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff in best practices for industrial maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during field service calls, addressing client needs promptly.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and potential upgrades.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial mechanics or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software.
- Proficient in hydraulics, welding techniques, and using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting (high voltage/low voltage).
- Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing issues effectively.
