Overview
Looking for a new opportunity with ample room to grow, move forward and upward. Have something to offer? We are seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machinists to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies and contribute to high-quality manufacturing projects.
Duties
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
- Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, ensuring they align with engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing instructions to produce accurate parts.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and tools, including tooling setup, calibration, and inspection to maintain high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery with a strong understanding of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar controls.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and mechanical schematics.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, tooling selection, and precision measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or similar for part design review.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and dimensions.
- Ability to work safely using hand tools, tooling equipment, forklifts (certification preferred), and other manufacturing tools in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure quality output. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing your expertise in CNC machining to a team dedicated to precision, innovation, and continuous improvement!
