Vertical Content Lead Strategist

Location: Miami, Florida (In-Person)

Overview

We’re looking for a Vertical Content Lead Strategist to fully own the end-to-end creation and performance of short-form content across all our channels. This role is for someone who lives and breathes vertical video, understands internet culture in real time, and can turn raw ideas into high-performing, monetized content at scale.

You will be responsible for idea generation, filming, editing, posting, scheduling, and monetization optimization of short-form content across YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat.

This is a hands-on, creative leadership role with real ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Own the short-form content strategy across all channels and platforms
  • Generate high-quality short-form video ideas aligned with our voice, brand, and audience
  • Film all short-form videos - in studio or on location
  • Edit short-form videos optimized for retention, pacing, hooks, and platform-specific best practices
  • Post and schedule all short-form content across YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat
  • Ensure consistent publishing cadence across platforms
  • Stay on top of trends, formats, memes, sounds, and cultural moments — and act quickly
  • Adapt long-form content into short-form clips when applicable
  • Optimize content per platform (hooks, captions, pacing, aspect ratios, thumbnails when relevant)
  • Continuously optimize monetization on each platform (ad revenue, bonuses, platform incentives, emerging monetization features)
  • Track performance metrics and iterate content strategy based on what’s working
  • Collaborate closely with other internal teams to align content with broader business goals
  • Build and maintain a scalable system for short-form content production and distribution

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating high-performing short-form content (personal or professional accounts welcome)
  • Deep understanding of YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat
  • Strong instincts for storytelling, pacing, and hooks in under 60 seconds
  • Comfortable filming and directing talent
  • Proficient with modern editing tools (Premiere, CapCut, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of short-form monetization models and platform incentives
  • Ability to move fast, test often, and iterate without overthinking
  • Highly organized with strong creative judgment
  • Comfortable owning projects end-to-end without micromanagement
  • Strong performance analytics and revenue optimization experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
