We are seeking a corporate Project Engineer to take ownership/responsibility for construction of major/complex/critical projects seeing that they meet objectives and are completed on time and on budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead for capital and expense projects as assigned.

2. Manage the design and construction of major/complex/critical projects to improve operations and profitability.

3. Coordinate activities between contractors and maintenance personnel in collaboration with the plant.

4. Creates technical specifications, prepares procurement inquiry package, technically evaluates bids, and issues order for equipment.

5. Make estimates of capital and operating costs of various major/complex/critical projects, process alternatives, and facilities. Recommend facilities installations.

6. Plan, schedule and coordinate design and construction of major/complex/critical projects.

7. Coordinate the work of consultants, vendors, and contractors resolving problems in a timely manner thereby minimizing impact on the project.

8. Acting as focal point for technical and work process related EPC firms on outsourced projects.

9. Provide consulting and technical support to operations and maintenance.

10. Make specifications for and provide the necessary contract language for the purchase of materials, equipment, and installation of facilities.

11. Coordinate various programs (i.e., structural integrity, tank regulations, etc.)

12. Train engineers to manage projects.

13. Expedite delivery of critical materials and equipment.

14. Expedite installation of critical facilities.

11. Provide information and guidance for designers and draftsmen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
