State Protection Service, Inc. is actively seeking professional Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Milwaukee area. This position is ideal for individuals who are confident, vocal, observant, and committed to maintaining a high standard of safety. Officers work evening/overnight shifts from 1800–0200, partnered with another officer.

Available Shifts

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Officers work with a partner on every shift

Ideal Armed Officer Candidates Will:

• Be confident, vocal, and assertive when needed
• Demonstrate excellent risk assessment and situational awareness
• Have strong experience with confrontation management and de-escalation techniques
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Be reliable, disciplined, and well-groomed
• Communicate clearly with their partner, dispatch, and residents
• Safely and confidently handle firearms
• Hold all required state armed guard certifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Wisconsin Guard Card
• Valid Wisconsin Firearm License/Concealed Carry Certification
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable cell phone and transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a partner
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Physically able to stand, walk, and respond quickly
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive patrols of the assigned housing area
• Work closely with your assigned partner to ensure full security coverage
• Report hourly to dispatch and maintain continuous communication regarding all housing-area activity
• Respond to incidents professionally and confidently
• De-escalate situations using proven techniques
• Apply strong risk assessment to determine proper responses
• Document and report all incidents accurately
• Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain firearm safety and operational proficiency
• Engage respectfully and professionally with residents, visitors, and clients
