Entry Level Phone Refurbishing & Repair Technician

Location: Taylor, TX
Work Environment: Climate-controlled warehouse and shaded outdoor areas
Pay: $15.00–$18.50/hour
Schedule: 30–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, generally between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Electronics Refurbishing & Repair Technician to join our small, fast-paced team. In this role, you will help polish, paint, repair, test, clean, and grade refurbished electronics, primarily Apple and Samsung devices.

This position is a good fit for someone who can work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. The devices you process directly affect customer satisfaction and trust, so accuracy and consistency matter.

Responsibilities

• Improve the cosmetic condition of devices through polishing and painting
• Repair devices, mainly smartphones, including replacing batteries, screens, speakers, microphones, and cameras
• Inspect, clean, grade cosmetic devices
• Test devices for functionality, including: iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, AirPods, Samsung devices
• Keep inventory organized and records up to date
• Maintain a clean and efficient workstation
• Meet daily production goals while balancing speed and quality

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Quality-focused mindset and willingness to slow down when precision is needed
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to take ownership of mistakes, learn, and improve
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• No prior experience required; training provided
• Experience in e-commerce or electronics is a plus, but not required
