What You’ll Do

Craft & Execute with Speed

• Prepare espresso, pour-over, tea, and signature drinks with precision and efficiency
• Dial in recipes and maintain brew consistency throughout each shift
• Prioritize speed without sacrificing quality or care

Maintain & Restock

• Restock syrups, batch brews, and ingredients as needed
• Keep the café workspace spotless—dishwashing, cleaning, and general upkeep throughout the shift

Engage & Delight

• Greet guests warmly and create memorable experiences with every interaction
• Share your coffee knowledge in a friendly, approachable way
• Bring great energy and hustle to every shift

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: We’re looking for someone with some hospitality experience—ideally from a café, restaurant, or retail setting. This is a fast-paced environment, so comfort under pressure is a plus!
• Passion: A strong love for coffee and hospitality
• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and cleanly, especially during rushes
• Communication: Friendly, clear, and team-oriented
• Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Stamina: Able to stand, move, and lift throughout a full shift
• Tech Comfort: Confident with POS systems and basic cash handling

(Inside Spark Social food-truck park; our café is permanently located on site)

Public Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 7 AM – 3 PM
Fri–Sun: 7 AM – 4 PM

Shift Windows:
6 AM – 5 PM (some flexibility required)

Are you able to make a reasonable commute to this location for work?

• Regardless of experience, you're expected to work well with a team under pressure, do sweeping, mopping, dishes and trash duty daily. Does this work for you?
• At SPRO, we care deeply about moving fast, delivering great drinks, and making people feel welcome. How do you approach balancing all three on the job?
• This location is inside Spark Social, which is located inside a food truck park. We're a trailer but permanently operate inside this park without moving. You'll be working in outdoor-like climates, in a non-air-conditioned environment. The weather can be temperamental in SF. Does this work for you?
• Generally, at open or closing, you are expected to do the job by yourself. Are you comfortable operating solo for a portion or the remainder of the shift?
• Most of the shifts start from the morning until closing at 3 or 4pm. Does this schedule work for you?
