Advanced Production Associate - Mixing & Oven/Activation (Multiple Openings) | $24/hour

Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $24/hour
Shift: Initial training on standard shifts for Mixing; transition to 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule after training. Oven/Activation area will work a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule, providing extended time off and more scheduled days away from work.

Cormetech is hiring immediately for multiple Production Associate positions supporting our Mixing and Oven/Activation operations. These are advanced Production Associate roles offering hands-on manufacturing experience, technical skill development, and long-term growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do (depending on role)

• Work with solid and liquid raw materials in a manufacturing environment
• Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
• Adjust processes using data, testing, and established procedures
• Read and follow standard operating sheets (SOS) and run plans
• Record process data and communicate issues to supervisors and technical teams
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to maintain product quality

Mixing roles may include:

• Batch adjustments using analytical testing
• Use of engineering charts and historical process data
• Operating moisture balance and plasticity testing equipment

Oven/Activation roles may include:

• Adjusting solution chemistries using Excel-based tools
• Entering recipes into HMI systems
• Operating and maintaining inline analytical equipment (XRF)

Schedule

• Initial training on standard production shifts (Mixing)
• After training, roles transition to a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule, offering more scheduled days off and extended time away from work

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Willingness to complete forklift and confined space training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment
