Job Overview:

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Program PLC and HMI systems
- Design and build control panels to UL standards
- Document panels and systems using AutoCAD
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC based control systems and HMI’s
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial motor controls and VFD’s
- Install and terminate I/O wiring, cables, fiber optics, and communications cabling
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Job requires travel- travel can be significant at times
- Must be a journeyman electrician or have a degree in instrumentation
- Must have experience with VFD’s
- Must be Proficient with computers, Windows, and communications
- Must be capable of working productively with minimal supervision
- Must be in good physical condition- work can be demanding at times
- Must be capable of adjusting to customer’s scheduling needs with little or no notice
- Must have strong communication skills

Education:
- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- PLC Programming: 1 year (Required)
- HMI Software: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Journeyman Electrician (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Idaho Falls, ID 83402 (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (Preferred)
