Job Summary

The EH&S Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for developing, planning, and supervising all environmental, health, safety, and Worker’s Compensation programs. Your primary mission is to protect our team members, customers, and the environment while ensuring full regulatory compliance across all locations and job sites.

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

  • Program Leadership: Manage H&S activities to exceed state and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
  • Training & Development: Oversee safety programs and conduct New Team Member Orientation and ongoing training for all US-based businesses.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Perform safety and driver audits, monitor incidents, and implement corrective actions based on inspections.
  • Incident Management: Investigate health and safety incidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Worker’s Compensation: Manage the Worker’s Comp program, supporting injured workers through their recovery and return-to-work process.
  • Culture Building: Develop behavioral-based safety programs to raise awareness and improve the safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification: Professional EHS certification required (e.g., CSP, ASP).
  • Experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience with federal, state, and local safety requirements (OSHA, FMCSA, EPA, etc.).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with EHS management systems (ISO 45001, 14001) and life-critical processes like LOTO, Fall Protection, and Confined Space.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and transportation technology such as Motive or Lytx DriveCam.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to job sites and office locations (approx. 50%).
