Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate and be the friendly face that makes every shopping experience memorable! In this role, you will handle transactions efficiently, assist customers with their needs, and create a welcoming environment. Duties

  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and assisting with product demos
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance the shopping experience
  • Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to increase sales opportunities
  • Assist in stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting
  • Use effective communication skills to address customer inquiries via phone etiquette or in person

Requirements

  • Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
  • Experience with grocery store operations or merchandising is beneficial
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
