Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as an Armed Security Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a full-time role overseeing all security operations. This role includes supervising armed security personnel, developing security procedures, and ensuring the safety and security of the client's premises.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of armed security personnel.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents and related activities.
Train security staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Conduct regular training and drills to ensure staff readiness.
Keep abreast of industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure security needs are met.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security management and/or law enforcement preferred.
Must meet all State of South Carolina licensing requirements to work as a private armed security officer.
Must meet all State of South Carolina licensing requirements to carry firearms.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
Knowledge of security best practices and procedures.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and professionalism.

Education and Certification

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certification: ASIS – CPP certification is a plus.
