Job description:

First Docs, LLC is a physician-owned internal medicine practice focused on delivering high quality, patient-centered care across outpatient and post-acute settings. We are currently seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient internal medicine office in Hamilton, New Jersey.

This position is ideal for an experienced NP looking for a consistent weekday outpatient schedule in a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

Position Overview:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult and geriatric patients alongside an established physician team. Responsibilities include preventative care, chronic disease management, acute visits, medication management, and ongoing patient education.

Schedule:

• Part-time position
• Preferred schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• No weekends, major holidays, inpatient responsibilities, or on-call requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient primary and internal medicine care to adult and geriatric patients
• Perform physical exams, evaluations, and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff
• Document encounters accurately within the EMR system
• Support preventative care and wellness initiatives

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification
• Active New Jersey NP license and DEA
• Experience in primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or outpatient medicine preferred
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with physicians and staff
• EMR proficiency required
