Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment to ensure readiness for patient procedures.
- Assist dentists during various procedures such as cleanings, restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care.
- Take dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology like 3D scanners while maintaining strict infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records accurately using Denticon electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology effectively and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
- Monitor vital signs and assist in assessing patient comfort and safety throughout treatments.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, assisting the dental receptionist, and maintaining organized medical records.
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
- Experience with dental radiography including X-ray procedures and use of 3D scanners for detailed imaging.
- Familiarity with dental terminology across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry to assist effectively.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and support pediatric patients with compassion and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with dentists, patients, and team members in a fast-paced clinic setting. Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant
- Preference: Spanish Speaking
- Prefered: Have 2-3 years experince at least
- Proficient with X-rays (x-ray certification)
- Good chairside manners
- Can start soon
