Overview

Diamond Ridge Development Corporation is looking for a full time Rest Area Attendant for the I-10 Bouse Wash Rest Area, East and West bound. We're looking for individuals in the surrounding areas of Quartzsite, Salome, Tonopah and others for the Rest Area, for purposes of the commute, while any qualified candidate is welcome to apply. Responsible for completing the day-to-day custodial/grounds keeping work at the assigned location and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with the customer, all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, walkways, and outdoor areas by removing trash, sweeping debris, and performing light landscaping tasks as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of rest area amenities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other essentials to ensure continuous availability for visitors.
• Assist with minor custodial repairs or maintenance tasks to support overall facility upkeep.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for both staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, including floor care techniques like buffing and deep cleaning methods.
• Experience with industrial or residential cleaning tasks is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete daily duties effectively within scheduled shifts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Required Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation
• Speak, read and understand English
• 2 valid forms of ID (Driver's License, Social security card, ID card, passport, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds minimum
• Janitorial experience a plus
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping and bending
• Ability to do minor repairs.
• Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, traffic conditions, and outdoor conditions.
• Trailor hookups on property may be available
