Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a Field Supervisor to become a part of our team! You will supervise subcontract labor and schedule deliveries for wood framing construction. Atlantic Construction Services is a Turnkey wood framing Company specializing in commercial and multifamily construction.

Responsibilities:

• schedule deliveries with vendors, subs, & general contractors
• Maintain a clean and a safe workspace.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
• Foresight to predict problems before they develop.
• Hire and manage subcontract labor force.
• Ability to communicate the project plan and sequence of activities to subcontractors and material supplies to effectively implement our goals.
• A conscientious attitude towards controlling job costs and adhering to progress schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in wood framing construction preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to follow and implement construction plans and documents.
• Experience in scheduling, ordering materials, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of wood construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
