Community Relations & Lifestyle Director Job Description
Are you looking for a fun-filled opportunity to be creative and create community? We are looking for a trailblazer to help pave the way! Applicant must be a self-starter and visionary with strong ability written and social skills.
Job Summary: The Community Relations & Lifestyle Director is responsible for creating authentic connections and building a strong sense of community from ground level. This position will support and oversee community marketing events through the planning and implementation of social, educational, and recreational events and activities. The Community Relations & Lifestyle Director will be responsible for the management of the community annual lifestyle program and budget. This includes marketing and communication of all events and activities within the community. The Community Relations & Lifestyle Director will collaborate with a team of industry leaders to create and market a robust variety of marketing events through community outreach. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
The Community Relations & Lifestyle Director has a wide range of responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Work with the team, developer, and vendors to imagine, create and deliver a robust lifestyle program through community partnerships.
- Maintain lifestyle marketing budget including all expenses and forecasting as needed
- Schedule, coordinate and execute marketing events and activities for prospective resident enjoyment in accordance with the approved program and budget
- Coordination to include planning, budgeting, ticket sales and event registration, logistical planning, setup, breakdown and attaining necessary supplies
- Negotiate necessary contracts relating to programming as outlined in the lifestyle budget
- Communicate various lifestyle offerings through various forms of communication, i.e. website, email, social media, newsletter
- Attend all community sponsored marketing and lifestyle events
- Evaluate & attain prospective instructors, vendors and entertainment
- Establish community partners to support the lifestyle program
- Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling and day-to-day management of the Concierge team.
- Others projects as assigned by company management team
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Event planning or hospitality background is preferred
- Exceptional work ethic and leadership
- Able to multitask and high-level organizational skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Publisher and Outlook required
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass to a background and drug screen
