About Us
Growing beauty & skincare wholesale company scaling rapidly. We sell to retailers and direct B2B channels and need a hands-on numbers person to clean up accounting and own logistics operations.
Role Summary
You’ll stabilize and clean up our books, implement reliable accounting processes, and manage day-to-day logistics (shipping, inventory, carriers). This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, growth-stage businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting / Finance
- Clean up bookkeeping: reconcile bank and credit-card accounts, fix historical GL issues, correct past entries
- Manage AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and customer billing disputes
- Lead month-end close, post journal entries, and produce accurate monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow reports
- Reconcile inventory to accounting and support cycle counts/adjustments
- Implement or optimize accounting systems/processes and internal controls
- Coordinate with external CPA for taxes, audits, and filings
Logistics / Operations
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments, carrier selection, freight negotiation, and freight cost controls
- Oversee order fulfillment workflows, inventory accuracy, returns, and claims
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, 3PLs, and carriers; resolve exceptions quickly
- Implement shipping/inventory systems or integrations (WMS, shipping platforms) and improve SOPs for scalability
People & Systems
- Supervise or coordinate with 3rd-party providers (bookkeeping firms, 3PLs) and train staff on new processes
- Set KPIs (days payable/receivable, inventory turns, on-time shipments, freight cost per unit) and report performance
- Lead process improvements to support growth and investor-readiness
Qualifications
- 3–6 years accounting/bookkeeping experience; experience reconciling messy books and performing cleanups
- Logistics, supply-chain, or fulfillment experience in wholesale/retail/ecommerce environment
- Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or ERP) and Excel; experience with ShipStation, ShipBob, or WMS a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
- Experience implementing processes and controls in a scaling company
- Excellent communication and vendor-management skills
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience preferred
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
