Construction & Remodeling Laborer

Location: Canton, TX and surrounding areas

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Construction & Remodeling Laborer to join our team. This position involves residential and commercial remodeling projects in Canton and surrounding towns. Applicants must have previous hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, painting, flooring, drywall, demolition, or general labor.

This is a physically demanding position that requires punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of construction and/or remodeling experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is REQUIRED.
• Must be willing to travel to job sites in Canton and surrounding cities.
• Must arrive on time and ready to work every day.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Must maintain a professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Demolition and job site preparation.
• Drywall installation and repair.
• Painting and finishing work.
• Flooring installation and repairs.
• Basic carpentry and framing.
• Fence installation and repairs.
• General remodeling and renovation tasks.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site.
• Following instructions from supervisors and project managers.
• Performing other construction-related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One unpaid 30-minute lunch break
• Overtime may be available depending on project needs

Attendance Policy

Reliable attendance is essential. Employees are expected to arrive at the job site on time and ready to work at the scheduled start time. Excessive tardiness, unexcused absences, failure to report to work, or leaving a job site without authorization may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Safety Requirements

• Follow all company safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Failure to follow safety procedures may result in termination.

Compensation

Pay based on experience and skill level.

Pay: $400.00 - $550.00 per week
