Kennel Assistant

Holly Vet Clinic is a modern, independently owned veterinary clinic in Kenmore serving the greater Seattle area. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kennel Assistant to help support patient care, cleanliness, and daily clinic operations. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in veterinary medicine, animal care, or gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Walking, feeding, and monitoring hospitalized and boarding pets
• Cleaning kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and common spaces
• Cleaning and sanitizing medical equipment and clinic tools
• Assisting with laundry, dishes, and general clinic organization
• Safely handling dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
• Restraining pets for technicians and veterinarians when needed
• Stocking supplies and helping maintain a clean, efficient workflow
• Assisting with basic patient care tasks under supervision

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working around dogs and cats
• Able to lift and restrain pets safely (up to 50+ lbs with assistance)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting that may involve cleaning bodily fluids and handling medical cases
• Previous animal experience is a plus, but not required
