Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stocking shelves to maintain an attractive store environment
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and participating in regular stock counts
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support sales initiatives through effective communication skills and proactive engagement with shoppers

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing customer interactions during busy periods
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math ensures smooth transaction processes
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced settings
• Strong communication skills help build rapport with customers and team members alike
• Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and product demos will set you apart as a versatile team player
