About Code Four

Code Four is an experiential production company specializing in live events, environmental graphics, fabrication, AV production, staging, branded environments, and large-scale installations for sports, entertainment, hospitality, festivals, and national brand activations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Prepress & Production Specialist to support large-format print production and event graphics workflows from proofing through final output.

Position Overview

The Prepress & Production Specialist is responsible for preparing, organizing, proofing, and quality-checking files for large-format print production and fabrication workflows.

This role requires strong technical design knowledge, file organization, attention to detail, and an understanding of print production processes, substrates, finishing methods, and installation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare production-ready artwork files for large-format print and fabrication
  • Review incoming artwork for sizing, bleed, resolution, color accuracy, and print readiness
  • Build and organize print proofs and production packages
  • Coordinate with Creative, PMs, Print Production, and Fabrication teams
  • Manage graphics matrices, file naming conventions, and production organization
  • Prepare files for vinyl graphics, banners, wall wraps, signage, and event branding
  • Confirm substrates, dimensions, finishing methods, and installation specifications
  • Troubleshoot artwork and production file issues
  • Maintain organized file structures in Egnyte and internal systems

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prepress, production design, or large-format print experience
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Understanding of bleed, scaling, color management, resolution requirements, and print finishing
  • Experience with large-format graphics and environmental branding preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Work Environment

  • Full-time in-office position
  • Fast-paced production environment
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak production periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
