Civil Design Engineer

Location: Detroit or Lansing, MI Regular in office work required

What You’ll Do

  • Create and interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Develop detailed technical reports and project work plans while ensuring execution with precision.
  • Participate in design reviews, refine designs, and provide creative solutions for challenging engineering problems.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, enhancing your skills in a variety of civil engineering disciplines.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Level 1 & 2 Engineers: 1-3 years of experience.
  • Senior Engineers: 5+ years of experience.
  • Must have experience in civil engineering field
  • Certifications:
  • Level 1 & 2: FE preferred.
  • Senior: FE required, PE preferred.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation or similar software.
  • Expertise in road design or transportation projects.
