ReadySpaces has a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician position, must be available to work at all of our NorCal Region locations (Locations in: San Jose, South San Franscisco, Richmond, Hayward) Daily Travel Required

The Facility Maintenance Technician will collaborate with the Regional Manager and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility through a diagnosis of problems and repair, such as electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and light construction work.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and respond to maintenance issues and repairs. Schedule, monitor and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ability to repair and paint drywall and office repairs.
• Assembling and installing furniture, fixtures, and lighting in warehouses and offices
• Read floor plans and construct unit build outs.
• Address plumbing issues, repairing and replacing facility parts.
• Installing and wiring electrical outlets up to 220w
• Installing and securing pallet racking
• Additional tasks as deemed necessary, assigned by the General Managers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in building maintenance, construction or related trade is required.
• Ability to travel and work Monday through Friday; 8 hour per day within the San Fransisco Bay Area
• Manage and respond to maintenance issues and repairs. Schedule, monitor and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ability to repair and paint drywall and office repairs.
• Assembling and installing furniture, fixtures, and lighting in warehouses and offices
• Address plumbing issues, repairing and replacing facility parts.
• Installing and wiring electrical outlets up to 220w
• Installing and securing pallet racking
• Additional tasks as deemed necessary, assigned by the General Managers.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a forklift certification.
• Must be able to operate a scissor lift.
• Must be able to multitask, manage time effectively and be able to cope with change constructively.
