Job Description – Collections Agent

• Pay: $12 - $14.50 (plus performance bonuses)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST

Overview:
The Collections Agent II is responsible for contacting residential customers to resolve delinquent accounts, secure payments, and promote ACH enrollment while delivering a high standard of professionalism and customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and consistent achievement of performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily to customers with overdue balances.
• Collect a minimum of $40,000 in monthly payments across assigned accounts.
• Achieve 35–55 monthly ACH enrollments to support automated payment adoption.
• Maintain a Quality Assurance score of 85% or higher through compliant, accurate, and customer focused interactions.
• Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately in the system.
• Follow established scripts, compliance guidelines, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet monthly KPI goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous collections or customer service experience required
• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with CRM or dialer systems (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
