Jean Rousseau Inc is a 100% affiliated company of Manufacture Jean Rousseau ( France ), based in NY and its Atelier in Industry City, Brooklyn.

It specializes in watch straps as well as horology accessories and luxury leather goods.

The company acts under its own brand name - Jean Rousseau-Paris, in its Boutique in Manhattan Fifth Avenue & 54th street and also as a partner to major luxury watch brands ( especially Swiss ) ;

It is aimed at a highly demanding international clientele, with a passion for luxury articles, fully personalized and handmade.

Jean Rousseau seeks to hire a fine leather craftsperson.

The craftsperson will primarily concentrate on execution of luxury watch straps, he/she may develop in other leather crafting activities in a second phase ( small leather goods, belts, bags )

Desired skills and experience

Previous leather crafting skills and experience are a plus, but applicants with strong interest in art and craft activities will be considered. As well as a good ability to communicate with clients and colleagues.

Full training will be provided for by Jean Rousseau

Candidate should have good general education level in environment such as FIT New York or Parson's – or any art and craft similar background.

Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
