IMMEDIATE HIRE – Mid-Level Investigator (Hybrid – NYC)

Paramint LLC is currently hiring a Mid-Level Investigator for an immediate W2 contract opportunity supporting the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Office of Equal Employment Opportunity & Diversity.

Start Date: May 26, 2026
Location: Hybrid – NYC (LeFrak Office)
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday
Urgency: Candidates must be available to start immediately.

Position Overview:
The selected candidate will support DEP’s EEO Office in handling EEO complaint investigations and reasonable accommodation requests. This role will assist with case intake, investigative support, documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking under the supervision of DEP’s EEO team.

Hybrid Work Requirement:
Consultants are expected to report onsite to the LeFrak office 2 days per week. Depending on the needs of the EEO Office, this could increase to up to 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with intake, triage, and documentation of EEO complaints
  • Conduct interviews and support evidence gathering activities
  • Draft investigative notes, summaries, and reports
  • Maintain case files and tracking systems
  • Assist with reasonable accommodation requests and related documentation
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal, and other stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with EEO standards and policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of investigative, compliance, HR, regulatory, or related experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Familiarity with anti-discrimination laws and EEO processes preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems

Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in investigations, employee relations, regulatory compliance, HR investigations, labor standards, or government agency investigations are encouraged to apply.

This is an immediate hiring need. Candidates must be able to start by May 26, 2026 and comply with the hybrid onsite requirements.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
