Minecraft In-Game Actor

Roster manages the hiring process for the top global creators and brands. Catface, a YouTube entertainment company home to a family of channels (including Aphmau) with 28M+ combined subscribers and 300M+ monthly views, is on the hunt for a Contract In-Game Body Actor to bring their characters to life! We're helping them fill this position.

If you're an actor and gamer who loves narrative storytelling and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, this is the right role for you.

Requirements:

• You're available 0–30 hours per week, with most sessions between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM CT (occasional after-hours work)
• You have at least two years of Minecraft experience
• You have strong improvisation skills and comedic timing
• You're experienced with Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar recording software
• You can learn, replicate, and perform assigned character movements
• You have headphones, a microphone suitable for clear reference audio, and a high-speed internet connection
• You have a computer capable of running modded Minecraft smoothly (e.g. an NVIDIA graphics card, at least 16GB of RAM)
• You have flexible availability, including the ability to record on 24 hours' notice or less
• You're at least 18 years old
• A performance reel or gameplay sample demonstrating previous in-game character performance is required
• Roblox and modded Minecraft experience is a plus
• Experience in Minecraft/Roblox YouTube content and voice acting is highly preferred
• A secondary monitor is a nice-to-have

Responsibilities:

• Operate characters in-game for recording sessions, performing scripted and improvised actions during gameplay (no mocap or greenscreen)
• Follow blocking and movement instructions to match tone and pacing
• Perform vocal reference in the cast member's style (your voice and likeness will not be published)
• Adapt your performance to meet Catface's tone, quality, and audience
• Maintain professionalism during recording sessions
• Provide weekly availability and attend scheduled sessions promptly
