SEMA Construction has an immediate opening for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a background in earthwork.

Primary Work Locations: Tucson, AZ
Additional Travel: Throughout the state of AZ to include, Holbrook, and Kingman

About the Position

This is a travel‑based construction role with work primarily in Tucson, AZ. Additional projects across the state of AZ may be assigned. If you are not willing to travel frequently, this position will not be a match.

We are seeking dependable individuals with 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.

Equipment Experience (Preferred)

CAT 745 Haulers
Excavators
Loaders
Dozers
Motor Graders
Blades (Must)

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active construction sites
Travel regularly to various project locations across the state of Arizona
Assist with excavation, grading, hauling, and general site work
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members

Qualifications

3 years of experience operating the equipment listed above (preferred)
Must be comfortable with frequent travel—travel is required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills

SEMA Construction offers top wages and benefits to all employees. Compensation is based on experience but is expected to start at $40.00 per hour.
