Summary Statement:

The Fashion Associate is responsible for personalizing an original, slightly unconventional retail experience that is sure to surprise and delight. The Fashion Associate strives to meet and exceed sales goals while cultivating a personal and memorable experience for clientele. With a deep understanding of product knowledge, this position is the key to ensuring customer satisfaction.


Primary Job Duties:
Includes but is not limited to:

  • Lead the development of new customers, converting walk-in traffic to clients by creating energy, excitement and desire around the product and brand.
  • Create a memorable guest experience by meeting their individual needs through product knowledge.
  • Discuss and give fashion advice on general trends and developments in the fashion market.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients through thoughtful and consistent outreach.
  • Cross-perform in all assigned areas to ensure that merchandise sizing, ticketing and presentation are to company standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of all merchandise and products.
  • Safeguard confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
  • Assist with store recovery and stock room organization.
  • Take accurate counts when needed to ensure system accuracy.
  • Handle all customer issues in a friendly and helpful way, calling a member of the store operations team when needed.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and customer contact on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Proven track record in achieving sales results.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

  • High-end sales experience in a hospitality environment.
  • Working knowledge of retail POS systems and functionality.
  • Interest in Pop culture and Trend.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in fashion, high-end, or high-volume retail or related field.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.


Physical Demands:

  • Work is typically performed in a Retail Store setting.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
  • Prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
