Providence is calling for Accounts Receivable Representative - Billing Follow up - Full time, Day, Hybrid (Portland, OR)

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies and others for equipment and services provided by Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services which could include the following service lines of Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years recent experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment with an emphasis on insurance billing and follow-up.

  • Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: College level courses in medical billing.

  • TIMs Experience (remove epic experience)

  • Experience with HME/DME billing and follow-up

Salary Range by Location:

  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $21.16, Max: $32.37

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
