Athletics | Lacrosse Men Job DescriptionInstructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of men's lacrosse, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Masters desired. Prior coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of men's lacrosse at the intercollegiate level required. Ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to travel extensively during recruiting process required. Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.
