Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Manager to help lead our team. In this role, you’ll be supporting the Store Manager in delivering top-notch food service, ensuring smooth daily operations, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses strong leadership skills and has a genuine love for hospitality and food management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management expertise while making a real impact on our guests’ experience.

Wage: $17.00/hr plus tips
Optional 401K Match at 90 days

Flexible schedule: We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays. Some Saturdays are required (with time off during the week if working a Saturday). More hours required a couple of weeks around the holidays, but off the day of all major holidays.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, ensuring everything runs seamlessly from opening to closing.
Supervise staff training and development to maintain high standards of customer service and food quality.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
Support food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong, motivated staff.

Skills

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience (management or supervisory preferred, but not necessary.)
Knowledge of food preparation and food safety regulations.
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform inventory control effectively.
Solid understanding of customer service excellence.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
