Op6 is a small business in Katy, TX, founded by a former Houston-area Police Officer and 10-year Military Veteran.

Schedule:

Work environment:

  • Static (possibly uniformed at times) at a residence
  • Mobile - escorting Principal and family members

Responsibilities:

  • Access control to residential property
  • Monitor residential property
  • Provide escorts for Principal and family members

Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Must have high-school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read and write the English language
  • Current "Commissioned Officer" licensing through DPS-PSB
  • Must have current level 4 PPO licensing
  • Minimum of 2+ years of Security, Military and/or Law Enforcement in "armed" capacity
  • Minimum of 2+ years of licensed Bodyguard / EP experience
  • Preferential consideration for corrections, law enforcement, military experience
  • Must have proof of security-related training that exceeds current state mandates for level 2, 3, and/or 4 courses
  • Height-to-weight proportionate
  • Must be able and willing to complete up to a 40-hour "Advanced Level Security Officer" training program for max available pay-rate (s)
  • Must have your own duty rig and handgun
  • Must have current passport or able to obtain one, within 14-days of hire
  • Must be certified for at least 1-intermediate weapon (OC, Baton, and/or Tazer)
  • Must have extensive knowledge on detaining, arrest, and use of force laws
  • Must be CPR, AED, First-Aid certified

Summary

As an Armed PPO-Bodyguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Client and his/her family. Reporting to the Account Manager, your core skills in security and conflict management will be essential in preventing theft and addressing any potential disturbances. This position requires periodic travel, potentially outside of the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
