Class A CDL Driver – Asphalt Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our growing asphalt maintenance team. This position plays a key role in supporting our field operations by safely transporting materials and equipment to job sites across Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. Position Overview:
The Class A CDL Driver will operate dump trucks and truck/trailer combinations to haul asphalt materials, equipment, and supplies. This role requires experience driving manual transmission vehicles and a willingness to assist the crew on-site when needed. Work is primarily outdoors and may involve varying hours depending on project schedules and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class A vehicles, including dump trucks and truck/trailer combinations
Transport asphalt, aggregate, and equipment to and from job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
Secure loads properly and comply with all DOT regulations
Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required
Assist with asphalt paving and maintenance tasks when not driving (seal coating, crack filling, patching, paving, etc.)
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Represent the company in a professional manner on job sites and roadways

Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
Current DOT medical card
Proven ability to operate manual transmission Class A vehicles
Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Preferred Experience:

Experience in asphalt paving or maintenance
Familiarity with hauling construction equipment and materials
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
