Human Resources Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support our team in various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and will involve working closely with both the management team and employees to facilitate effective communication and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, accounting, and financial management, with proficiency in various HRIS and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of payroll management using Sage.
• Support benefits administration, ensuring employees have access to necessary information and resources.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately within HRIS systems, maintaining up-to-date employee records.
• Assist with accounting tasks, including general ledger reconciliation and double entry bookkeeping when necessary.
• Provide support for recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Experience

• Proven experience in human resources or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and state payroll taxes.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, and technical accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while demonstrating strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
