Insulation General Laborer

Job Description:

Grinstead Insulation, a family owned and operated company since 2012, is seeking a hard working, dedicated person to help with our Spray Foam operation and loose fill attic blow. We pay weekly (Direct Deposit) and this position is hourly. This is a low impact job that pays well to those who are self motivated and don't require micromanaging.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Preparation and cleanup work for Spray Foam Insulation. (I.E. - Hang plastic on windows and doors, clean up, etc.)
• Blow Truck Duties include feeding insulation hopper, keeping the truck neat and clean, cleaning up at the end of the install.
• Installation of bibs netting on walls.
• Removal of damaged insulation from attics, crawl spaces, and walls.
• Complete prep work for installation, may include foaming penetrations, caulking gaps, installing baffles.
• Install vapor and air barriers as needed.
• Use common hand tools such as knives, scissors, saws, and staple gun
• Company trucks and gas cards are provided. Trucks must be returned in the evenings to the office.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum (1) years experience of Construction experience preferred.
• MUST be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Punctuality is a must.

Compensation: Hourly based on experience

• Shop/Office located in Indianapolis, IN. Jobsites throughout Central Indiana

• 8-12 hour shift
