Role: Creo Designer (Mechanical/Tooling) – Mid-Level
Experience: 5+ years in mechanical design using PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Job Summary

The Creo Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and analyzing 3D CAD models and technical drawings for mechanical components and systems. The role involves working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using PTC Creo software.
  • Perform simulations, analyses, and manufacturability checks to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine design concepts and optimize performance.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and production readiness of new designs.
  • Document design changes and update technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and aerospace or manufacturing specifications when applicable.
  • Integrate designs into Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a mechanical designer or related role using Creo software.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) for 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill)
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
