We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art imaging services, including X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and bedside ultrasound. Our goal is to provide patients with a seamless, thorough, and expedient experience—regardless of the time of day.
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. As a Radiology Tech, you will operate our advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your commitment to patient care, safety, and technical excellence will be vital in delivering exceptional imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Properly position patients to ensure accurate imaging of specific body areas.
- Conduct routine warm-up sequences on radiological equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
- Thoroughly sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety, adhering to hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Accurately interpret and follow physicians' imaging instructions.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visualization of internal structures during imaging.
- Review and evaluate scans to ensure they meet technical quality standards.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support throughout the process.
- Monitor patients during scans, promptly identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.
- Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report any shortages or deficiencies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for accurate image interpretation.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and medical terminology.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in radiology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of one year of ARRT-verified experience in two modalities.
- At least one year of hospital-based radiologic experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, combined with relevant experience.
- ARRT certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
