As we scale, we’re seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our collaborative, high-performing cybersecurity sales team. This is not your average “smile and dial” role. You’ll have ownership of your territory, the opportunity to engage with senior decision makers, and the resources to make a measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.

You’ll partner with Senior Account Executives and Sales Leadership on complex, high-value deals, using a consultative approach to open doors, start strategic conversations, and quality opportunities by aligning to business value.

What You'll Do

  • Own early-stage sales funnel: Generate qualified meetings through a mix of inbound lead qualification and targeted outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, webinars, etc.).
  • Map key accounts, research decision makers, and develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Be the first impression: Deliver value first messaging and strategic curiosity that opens executive level conversations and lands qualified pipeline.
  • Partner with Sales: Develop account strategies, hand off qualified opportunities, and nurture long term relationships.
  • Drive urgency: Set the hook with fast track onboarding and show how SOOS accelerates compliance, reduces costs, and protects brands as part of a comprehensive security framework.
  • Maintain accurate activity: Keep CRM (Hubspot) up to date with sales activity, contacts, and pipeline records for reporting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Refine messaging and campaigns to prospects.
  • Represent Company: Industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
  • Continuously Learn: Grow your knowledge of cybersecurity trends, our product portfolio, and competitor positioning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focus on identifying new sales opportunities for SOOS
  • Research prospective organizations that can benefit from SOOS’s solutions to create a pipeline of potential leads
  • Understand complex organizations and reach out to the right decision makers via outbound calls, emails, and social media
  • Make an excellent first impression
  • Exhibit excellent Customer Service and nurturing skills
  • Maintain a high level of fluency in SOOS product offerings and associated value to our end customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of professional experience (sales, business development, or internships preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in prospecting cybersecurity/SaaS sales
  • Ability to convey complex technical messages in a clear and simple way
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, persuade, and overcome challenges with people, in writing, in person, or over the phone
  • Experience conducting secondary research (i.e., web and related sources)
