Community Harvest Food Bank seeks to find a qualified Truck Driver to deliver and pick up food donations within Allen County and surrounding areas for distribution through our many programs focused on ending hunger in Northeast Indiana.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive various types of trucks, including delivery trucks
- Safely load and unload heavy equipment and materials using forklifts or other appropriate machinery
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery of goods
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery logistics
- Ensure the proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transportation
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on trucks as needed

Experience:
- Valid Indiana For Hire license, automobile insurance, with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating using GPS systems or maps
- Ability to safely load and unload materials using appropriate machinery
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
