Pay transparency is an issue that Katie Bach, Chief Business Officer at @pizza and a nonresident senior fellow at The Brookings Institution, has been working on for years. “It’s (an issue that’s both critical for businesses and also really critical for society,” Bach said during a recent Indeed Leadership Connect virtual roundtable on pay transparency.

The featured speaker at the roundtable, Bach also cited compelling stats from Indeed research that reveal how important pay transparency has become to job seekers — and also to HR and TA leaders. For example, Indeed research has found that 75% of survey respondents are more likely to apply for a job if the pay range is listed in the job posting. And 98% of HR and TA leaders in another Indeed survey said pay transparency is either “very” or “somewhat” important to their C-suite executives.
