Full job description
The candidate should have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the QuickBooks accounting software package.
We are seeking an individual who demonstrates:
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and QuickBooks.
- All cash activities - checking bank accounts, reconciliations, funding, AR /AP, loan payoffs, refunding client cash and maintaining balances.
- Primary contact for bank in relation to day-to-day activities
- All bookkeeping - preparing monthly financials, covenants for investors, and ad hoc reports as requested.
- Running payroll 2x monthly and managing open enrollment for benefit options, primary contact for payroll provider
- Maintaining loan accuracy in Salesforce and QuickBooks
- Sending out monthly client correspondence and answering client questions
· Robust analytical capability
· Strong work ethic with no fear of working on getting the job done
· Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel
· Experience with Salesforce is a plus
· Sound business judgment with excellent organizational capability
- Work independently and balance multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
· Motivated, curious, detailed oriented, and adaptive to change
- Excited to work in a flexible casual work environment in person or remotely.
- Experienced in insurance or financial services environment preferred.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
