Responsibilities
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach.
- Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ insurance needs to recommend suitable home and auto coverage options.
- Engage in negotiation to secure favorable terms for clients while maintaining company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining policy details clearly and addressing client questions with professionalism.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and expert advice.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with analysis skills to assess client needs effectively.
- Ability to handle telemarketing campaigns and conduct outreach via phone or in person confidently.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and benefits administration is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a plus for compliance awareness.
