Digital Marketing Strategist – Paid Media Specialist (SEM)
Job Summary
Are you an analytical, data-driven marketer who loves managing paid ad campaigns that deliver real results? Do you have hands-on experience optimizing Google Ads and Meta Ads?
If so, we want you on our team! We’re a Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee (Small Business) and we’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist – Paid Media Specialist to help our clients reach their recruitment and business goals.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across multiple advertising platforms. You’ll develop strategies, analyze performance data, and continually refine campaigns to maximize ROI. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on campaign management, data insights, and delivering client success.
This is a full-time (8 AM - 5 PM) position working remotely on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and manage paid digital campaigns across platforms like Google, Indeed, Meta, and others
- Develop data-driven SEM strategies to meet client objectives and KPIs
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance daily, including keywords, ad copy, audience targeting, and budgets
- Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular calls
- Stay current on digital ad platform updates, tools, and trends
- Collaborate with creative and client services teams to ensure ad creative aligns with campaign strategy
Qualifications and Skills
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on SEM/PPC campaign management experience (not SEO)
- 2+ years managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube)
- 2+ years managing Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook and Instagram)
- Proven experience managing campaign budgets and optimizing for conversions
You'll impress us with:
- Recruitment marketing or HR advertising background
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or driver recruitment
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification
Education:
- BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant field
