Direct Delivery Caregiver

Sound Decisions is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Caregivers to support youth in our residential treatment program. This role involves 24-hour supervision, life skills training, and maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and daily supervision to residents
• Behavioral Training
• Implement life skills and therapeutic activities
• Support personal hygiene, meal prep, and medication administration
• Accurately document resident behavior, incidents, and logs
• Collaborate with professional staff on treatment goals
• Transport residents to appointments and outings
• Ensure facility safety, conduct routine checks, fire drills, and incident reporting

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Texas driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Proof of current auto insurance (if transporting residents)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB test
• Certification in Emergency Behavior Intervention or Crisis Prevention (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
