Who We Are

The Brookside Inn is a local restaurant in Smyrna Mills, Maine. Founded in June 1993, The Brookside is rooted in American Cuisine and a straightforward approach to hospitality: make it good, make it consistent, and make people feel welcome. We prioritize quality and execution, but we’re not trying to be flashy about it. We’ve worked hard to create a place that locals can trust for quality breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We’re a hands-on team that takes pride in what we create and how we support each other. The Brookside is fast-paced, and the days can be busy. What You’ll Do
As a Line Cook at the Brookside, you’ll play a key role in bringing our menu to life every single shift. Working alongside our staff, you’ll prepare and execute menu items with consistency, care, and attention to detail. From prepping to cooking, you’ll help ensure that every item leaving the kitchen meets our standards for quality, flavor, and presentation.
You’ll move with urgency during service, keep your station clean and organized, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to keep things running smoothly. This role is essential to creating a seamless guest experience — because when the kitchen operates efficiently and with pride, it shows up in everything that we make.

Position Details:
This is a Full-Time position offering a competitive hourly wage.
