ENTRY-LEVEL DIRECT SUPPORT POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN BERGEN, PASSAIC, AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES!

Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for disabled loved ones.

Shifts Available (Full-Time, Part-Time & Sub Positions)

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities and Duties

Client Care:
Ensure all clients are clean, well-fed, and properly cared for at all times, including assistance with toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, and laundry as needed.

Transportation:
Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments or activities using a company van.

Meal Support:
Assist with meal preparation, serving, feeding, and cleanup.

Effective Communication:
Clearly and concisely communicate relevant information related to client care.

Staff Integration:
Assist with integrating new staff members into unit activities and routines.

Basic Computer Skills:
Use basic computer skills to document care, maintain records, and communicate effectively.
