Vanderbilt doesn’t pay well given their reputation .. decent pto and benefits. Not really anything to brag about - the hospital needs better cleaning in the main spaces

Nice coworkers, hard to advance

The job is easy to learn and some coworkers are very helpful and will always answer your questions. It really depends on which lab you are in. The pay is quite terrible and is not representative of the current economy. It is very difficult to get a promotion or raise, no matter your educational/experience...Show more

Depending on who you work with, you may love or hate your job. Pay and benefits could be better, but overall a decent place to work. My HR department was nice but often ineffective.
