Every day, talent leaders need to navigate opposing perspectives. But what does it really mean to take those differing viewpoints into account? According to Stephanie Lepp, “it doesn’t mean meeting in the middle.”

Lepp, an award-winning producer and storyteller at Synthesis Media, is the creator of “Faces of X,” a short video series that reframes polarizing debates by weaving together multiple viewpoints. At Indeed FutureWorks 2025, actress Arianna Ortiz demonstrated how this can work with the AI debate. Her performance, which you can see in the video below, showed how the thesis of one argument — that AI is the most empowering force the world has ever seen — could be held in concert with its antithesis, that AI is the most destructive force.

“Instead of choosing one perspective and getting a partial view, how might we integrate different perspectives and gain a bigger view?” Lepp asked.

To do that, Lepp encouraged leaders to ask themselves three questions. Watch the video for those questions, Lepp’s call to action for leaders — and why one FutureWorks virtual experience attendee said, “I would love to watch this great presentation over and over.”

See AI’s promise and pitfalls in the workplace through the voices of an optimist, a skeptic and the future looking back at us.
